INTERNSHIPS FOR PUPILES AND STUDENTS

The biodynamic farm in Juchowo invites agricultural high schools, colleges and university students to participate in agricultural internships. Trainees can acquire the knowledge and skills needed to run an organic farm, including dairy farms, field crops and horticulture.

We offer agricultural vocational practices for students of Waldorf’s schools. During the practical training students learn how a biodynamic farm operates daily. They work with animals – in stables, in calf-boxes and in milking parlor. They help us to harvest potatoes, to collect stones from fields and to care for hedges. They participate in typical works in the vegetable garden: weeding, harvesting of vegetables, planting, etc. In the herb garden, they work on weeding, harvesting fruit and herbs, including wild plants. In addition, young people gain experience in running a household, they clean up, prepare meals, bake cakes, etc. From time to time, depending on the needs, trainees work in the carpentry, e.g. they construct nesting boxes for birds, repair or paint fences, or cultivate flower beds in the yard of the farm. The works are varied, so young people can gain valuable experience and skills that they will use in their later lives.

Our farm is located on the shore of the "Juchowo Lake". After work, there is the possibility of bathing, active leisure time (ping pong, football and volleyball courts), and evenings by the campfire.

In addition, as part of the Sunday rest and in order to get to know the interesting regions of our country, we can organize trips to the Baltic Sea, to Słowiński National Park, etc.

We offer internships for students of Walldorf’s schools from May to October.
